Selection of ingredients
Our range of products are produced from organic waste materials, therefore
providing a great net benefit to the environment and the community by preventing
these materials from going to Landfill.
If left untreated, organic waste
materials begin to break down, creating leachates and greenhouse gases that have
negative impacts on both our groundwater and our air quality.
Amazon Soils is
not only producing marketable products from this waste but are is also providing
solutions to improving the quality of native soils, gardens, and crops.
Production
Amazon has production facilities north and south of the river, complete
with state of the art screening and advanced composting equipments . For example
our German built Wilibald compost turner is capable of turning 1 cubic metre of
compost per minute. Turning is a critical process in composting which ensures
optimum levels of oxygen, moisture and temperature are met, this ensures full
pasteurisations of the compost which in turn ensures weed and disease free
products are produced.
Quality Control
All our product batches go through strict quality control. Our company and laboratory operate under the guidelines of International Quality Standard ISO 9001.This involves the implementation of procedures at all levels with the primary objective of delivering quality products and services to our customers.
Whilst all our products are tested according to Australian Standards specifications many of our products have the red certification mark to provide additional assuarnce to customers.
